Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Lead .Net Developer for a large consumer products company in the Carson Ca Area

Candidate will be responsible for day-day production support, maintenance activities and new development for web-based systems operating on a .net and windows platform. Candidate must have senior-level .net experience along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. This is a fast-paced and multiple project environment and candidate must be able to balance multiple projects and tasks, manage to project deadlines and effectively and appropriately escalate and follow-up on issues and assignments.


  • Participates in performing application design and review
  • Develops code that meets business/user requirements, IS quality standards and secure web development guidelines
  • Develops and conducts system/unit test plans including user acceptance test planning and execution
  • Participates in gathering and organizing of business/user requirements and feasibility analysis
  • Ensures that project success criteria are met; performs day-to-day maintenance of production software systems
  • Communicates task status/issues to IS management and project leaders
  • Participates in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuance
  • Creates technical/functional documentation


  • 8+ years extensive experience with .net web applications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience in a web development related field *Required
  • Good working knowledge of change control and version control processes using source code control tools, specifically Subversion
  • Ability to participate in quality assurance activities including unit testing, QA testing and documentation of test scripts and testing instructions for UAT testing

  • Hands on experience with MVC framework including MVC3 and the ability to migrate MVC3 to higher versions

  • .NET framework including 3.5
  • Visual studio 2010 and higher
  • Object Oriented Design & Programming
  • ADO framework
  • JQuery
  • JavaScript
  • XML and JSON (serializing and parsing)
  • LINQ
  • C# programming


  • SQL server
  • Database objects programming such as stored procedures, table value functions, … etc.
  • Knowledge of database normalization, relational data and indexing
  • Ability to create DB scripts to apply DB changes between environments
