Technical Repair SpecialistVolt is currently hiring 15 candidates to work in the capacity of a specialized device repair team in Seattle, WA. This will be a part-time position for a 6 to 9 month long project. If you like working with your hands, have an interest in mobile devices, and enjoy knowing how things work, this could be a great position for you!The Technical Repair Specialist performs specific functional troubleshooting and repair skills with a focus on IOS devices. After conducting a targeted analysis, the Technical Repair Specialist performs repairs on IOS devices as required.
Responsibilities - Successfully complete training course for specific device repair process.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform specific repairs of iOS devices.
- Record all repairs accurately to maintain service and inventory part accuracy.
- Develop product knowledge and research required information using all available tools and resources.
- Perform additional support like check-in duties or service functions as needed.
Desired Skills - Familiar with or certified to repair iOS devices.
- Ability to listen and provide feedback and guidance to others.
- Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly, sometimes under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Proven success in team environments demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members.
- Excellent verbal communications skills with ability to tailor communication and style to differing audiences.
Schedule Requirements - Must be able to work during retails hours (between 10am and 10pm, Mon-Sun)
- Will work 5 hour shifts; work week will be between 25-30 hours per week
Pay Rate - $15 per hour
