Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions Canada is currently hiring Technical Repair Specialist Candidates with iOS experience/knowledge to work in the capacity of a 6-specialized device repair team at their Client store's location listed below. This will approximately be a part-time contract for a 6-9 month's long project.

*Candidates with Open flexibility in Availability to work Mon-Sun (anytime between 10am-10pm) are required*

Job Description:

  • Location: Markham, Ontario L3R 4M9
  • Shift: 25-30 hours per week; Shifts can range anywhere from 10am-10pm (Mon-Sun) and will be a 5 hour per day shift schedule x 5 days or more a week to equal a total of 25-30 hours per week
  • Start days: Tuesdays
  • Pay Rate:  $17/hr (T4) + benefits available
  • Number of Openings available per store: 8

The Technical Repair Specialist performs specific functional troubleshooting and repair skills with a focus on iOS devices. After conducting a targeted analysis, the Technical Repair Specialist performs repairs on iOS as required.


  • Perform basic repairs on iPhones- primarily battery replacements
  • Successfully complete training course for specific device repair process.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform specific repairs of iOS devices.
  • Record all repairs accurately to maintain service and inventory part accuracy.
  • Develop product knowledge and research required information using all available tools and resources.
  • Perform additional support like check-in duties or service functions as needed.

Desired Skills

  • Must be familiar with iOS devices or certified to repair iOS devices and have a strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to listen and provide feedback and guidance to others.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly, sometimes under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Proven success in team environments demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to tailor communication and style to differing audiences.

 Schedule Requirements

  • Must be able to work during retails hours (between 10am and 10pm, Mon-Sun)
  • Will work 5-hour shifts; work week will be between 25-30 hours per week
