Description:

  • Responsible for directing day-to-day tasks/work for DS Technicians inside of the Lab
  • Perform training/onboarding of all new hire Techs
  • Perform the DS application verification process – review all requested licensed applications to determine need
  • Act as an escalation point for Deployment Services team for difficult technical issues, deployments, escalating issues to the manager/engineering team as needed
  • Collect and validate Deployment sheets/documentation after work has been performed by all DS Techs. Provide documentation to the DS Mgr. for review and filing
  • Verify regularly that all EOL DS equipment is properly decommissioned and removed by the team
  • Perform QA/QC of DS deployments and report performance feedback on a regular cadence to the DS Mgr.
  • Attend operational handoff meetings/PCD meetings with the DS Mgr. and validate that technology is properly handed off to the team from other parts of the business
  • Attend technology trainings offered by the business and disseminate training material to the team
  • Perform documentation revision and updating, along with communication around the changes to the group itself
  • Attend reoccurring internal and cross-departmental meetings to gather and share insight across departments (Weekly DS Engineering Meeting, Bi-Weekly Team Meeting, etc.)
  • Collaborate with DS Manager on large-scale projects to provide additional insight into needs/requirements from the team

Requirements:

  • Experience with process documentation and improvement
  • Experience with Active Directory Domain Services to configure users and computers
  • Preferred experience with Group Policy experience to configure devices (configuring devices in Active Directory)
  • Prior experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing Windows-based computers, including expert knowledge of Windows 7, 10, within enterprise environments
  • Familiar with TCP/IP networking concepts, Internet, and email systems, end user desktop support and web servers
  • Strong project management, process management and technical skills
  • Excellent customer facing skills and a demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
  • Agility in handling multiple tasks, responding rapidly to changing priorities, working within tight deadlines in a fast-past environment.
