Technical Trainer Reliability Engineering Lab– 6 mo – Lisle, IL  *URGENT HIRE*

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Technical Trainer for their Reliability Engineering Lab to educate people in electrical, environmental, and mechanical testing. Technical trainers must be extremely knowledgeable in the electronics industry and possess solid technical aptitude. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way. Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs.

The goal is to contribute to the development of team member’s technical skills to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

•             Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements

•             Produce training schedules and classroom agenda

•             Determine course content according to objectives

•             Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)

  • Use Moodle online training site to create and store training material

•             Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually

•             Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed

•             Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.

•             Observe and evaluate results of training programs

•             Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements

  • Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum
  • Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
  • Manager the training program in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System

Requirements

•             Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or other technical discipline

•             Proven experience as technical trainer using Moodle online training site to develop training

•             Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects

•             Experience in designing technical course content

•             Ability to address training needs with complete courses

•             Working knowledge in MS Office (especially Powerpoint)

•             Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds

•             Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
