VOLT’s client is looking for a Technical Writer         

This is an estimated 6-12 month position in the Tri-Cities area and offered through Volt Technical Resource. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support many of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

The Technical Writer will develop high-quality and easy-to-use technical documentation for our client. They will Develop, review, revise and maintain Operations, Administrative and other station procedures; ensure that they are technically correct and in accordance with human factor principles. Ensure documents comply with station and regulatory requirements and commitments. Interpret complex tasks, drawings, manuals, instructions, guidelines and requirements and convert them to an easily understandable sequence of steps to be used by company personnel.

The project will include but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit Software Quality Assurance Documents, training material, and on occasion some procedures.
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content (Templates)
  • Manage updates and revisions
  •  Coordinate approval cycle (reviews/signatures)
