Technician II

Our Client is looking for a Technician II in Westminster, CO.  You will be responsible cleaning, parts/materials preparation, mechanical assembly in the production area.

Responsibilities

  • Role tasks may include cleaning, parts/materials preparation, mechanical assembly, and masking operations.
  • Apply a basic to intermediate level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly & manufacturing operations.
  • Apply basic to intermediate competency in use of hand and electronic tools, and general manufacturing equipment.
    Apply solid computer skills to access & input data via computer interface or automated equipment.
    Utilize reading and comprehension skills to follow documented build instruction and/or suggest revision to existing instruction.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Will be required to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Must be a self-starter, ambitious and a conscientious individual.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and company.
    Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
    Must complete certification training and maintain required certifications as required.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What You’ll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree and 2 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in an office, clean room, laboratory, manufacturing floor or machine shop environment.
  • Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
