Technical Project Manager

This is an estimated 6 month temporary position, in Seattle, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. We are among the largest staffing companies in the US for contingent/temporary and direct hire placements, and support many of the top rated Pacific Northwest companies.

The Team provides comprehensive full-service technology infrastructure and applications support as well as customer supported software design, developing all policies regarding software development, infrastructure development and information security. The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of enterprise resource planning systems projects for the division. This role requires the significant exercise of independent discretion and judgment in matters of significance.


  • Partner with the stakeholder teams leadership to ensure successful project delivery
  • Set and ensure quality standards for project deliverables
  • Serve as the project expert in delivery against the group’s methodology and processes
  • Provide ongoing communication between stakeholders and project teams
  • Collaborate with teams to effectively schedule resource capacity
  • Maintain the forecast and actuals of project scope and schedule.
  • Assist with completion of internal and external status reports.
  • Assist with coordination and processing of change requests.
  • Coordinate and manage small projects, enhancements and defect remediation.
  • Coordinate and lead status meetings
  • Run working sessions based on sprint-based (scrum/agile) frameworks
  • Escalate risks and issues


  • Four (4) year degree in Accounting or Information Technology, or equivalent, is required
  • Professional project management certification (ex. PMP) is a plus
  • Experience deploying enterprise business application systems
  • Experience deploying NetSuite preferred, or other modern Med-Large business SaaS based ERP systems
  • Experience deploying systems within fast moving professional services organizations is a significant plus
  • Previous experience in accounting or finance roles or deployment projects preferred
  • Familiarity with key financial processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Planning and Budgeting
  • Previous experience with project accounting preferred
  • Familiarity with key project processes such as Project to Cash, Resource to Project
  • Previous experience working within or deploying ERP modules in support of manufacturing preferred
  • Familiarity with Quality Management and manufacturing processes as it pertains to Aerospace is a plus
  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst role is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
