Test Engineer

This manufacturing company located in Totem Lake, WA (near Seattle) which is a privately held company founded in 1984 and provides end to end electronic manufacturing services including Design, Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), complete Box Builds, final System Integration and Test is seeking a Test Engineer for a full-time, direct opportunity. The company provides end to end electronic manufacturing services (EMS) including design, printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), complete box builds, final system integration and test.  They make a difference in the world by partnering with our customers on design services and products into diverse markets such as fitness, medical, optics, industrial controls and telecom. 

In this fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development, our employees have the opportunity to work on creative, challenging products and projects while growing their career.  The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing product tests and test equipment.  Review your test data and act upon it to resolve failures and make improvements. 

Working closely with their customer, so bring your customer service focus and excellent communication skills. Review test yield reports and facilitate test improvements. Analyze closed work orders for performance to standard. Utilize analysis to create direction for product and manufacturing process changes. Create procedures and forms. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three years of progressive experience as a Test Engineer.

Tremendous communication skills and a desire to work with people who are passionate about quality. Electronics manufacturing experience. is a huge plus.

Key points:

The hiring manager is seeking candidates with at least 3 years of test engineering experience and has experience preferably with developing custom test equipment.

Experience with Labview, Python and C#. Validation experience. IQ, OQ, PQ (installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance qualification). Gage R&R experience, electrical engineering background.

Optical and /or laser experience a plus. Looking for someone who can work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
