We are currently looking to hire a Test/Systems Engineer for our client located in Toronto, ON. 

Role Title: Test/Systems Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: On-going Contract

Pay Rate: $33 cad/hour + 4% vacation pay

Job Description:

Responsible for building and verifying application software for diesel engines. Will serve as a software integration engineer and will be involved in specification development for software features on diesel engines; configure, integrate, and build software content into an application flash file. The engineer will be involved in verification and validation testing to ensure the controllability and functionality of the engine application; this may include on-engine testing in the lab or field. The position provides an excellent opportunity to display technical expertise while supporting critical Commercial Engine markets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must have experience in embedded systems test/development (C language) in marine diesel engine applications.
  • Work experience must include the following: CAN and SAE J1939 data link; ClearCase; Lauterbach/Trace32 Debugger; Vector CANalyzer/CANAPE; dSpace MRET Test Systems.
  • Desired Qualifications: Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
