Job Description

Production Test Technician 

This company located in Kent, WA (near Seattle) which designs, engineers, manufactures and certifies reliable digital in-flight entertainment and cabin management systems (IFE/CMS) for the corporate, private and VIP aircraft industry is seeking a Production Test Technician for a contract opportunity.

The selected candidate will perform the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and final systems. Complete rework on assemblies and systems as a result of testing, as required; soldering skills are required.

Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. Work with other departments to resolve problems found when tested. Assist other technicians in troubleshooting issues. Assist other areas to maintain timeliness of projects.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a High School diploma or equivalent and has 6 years technician experience. Communication proficient. Collaboration skills. Customer/Client Focus. Organizational Skills. Ethical Conduct. Personal Effectiveness/Credibility. Time Management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts or is exposed to risk of electrical shock.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
