Job Description

DESCRIPTION:     TOOL MAKER  

A full-service product development, engineering and manufacturing partner offering manufacturing solutions for the medical device, electronics, defense and industrial markets.

Currently seeking a Toolmaker to join our team! This is full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vacation and much more.

POSITION SUMMARY: To build, repair and alter molds and fixtures of extremely complex and precise nature. We serve a span of industries including: medical, telecommunications/fiber optics, tactical, automotive, consumer goods and other electronics. We are currently implementing our ISO 9001 certification as well as our 13485 for Medical.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Work cooperatively with all employees

Take responsibility to see jobs are completed when due

Build and repair plastic injection molds within customer specifications

Troubleshoot problems with a mold and arrive with an action plan to correct the problem in a reasonable amount of time

Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner in the shop with little or no supervision

Wear safety equipment that is relevant to the position or job being performed or equipment being used

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:        

Preferred 2-5 years technical CNC Operation/Programming Experience. Machines used Heidenhain Control, Micron and Bostomatic Precision

Preferred 7-10 years injection mold making in a tool shop environment

Technical mathematical skills

Ability to multitask, work on several projects at the same time without losing the ability to complete them on time and within customer specifications

Communicate with other departments and customers in a professional and respectful manner

Basic computer skills.

Proficient knowledge of several processes within the shop

Understanding of blue print reading

Basic understanding of Master Cam and Solid Works

Must own tools, measuring tools.
