We have 3 openings for skilled trailer techs with superior attitudes and desire for variety in their day-to-day duties. Ideal candidates will have their own tools, are well-trained with wheel seals replacement, 12 dc electrical repairs, abs diagnosis, welding mig or tig aluminum (not mandatory but preferred),  liftgate repairs and install,  roll up door repairs, semi-trailer wreck repair, suspension and air brake repairs and diagnosis, be ready to hit the ground running, and have a desire to expand their career with an industry leader in trailer manufacturing and service!

  Trailer Assembly Tech/ Mechanics Job Description

Job Type: Full-time -- Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Salary: $17 to $21 /hour  DOE -- MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS

Service department is accepting applications for experienced semi trailer and Truck Equipment Techs with the knowledge and drive to help us make a difference. We are looking for a technician whom has the following.

  • Pneumatic power tools (1/2 & 3/8 impact wrenches, 3/8 drill, air saw, etc.)
  • Assorted hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, measuring tape, etc.)
  • Electrical hand tools (pliers, soldering torch, test light, etc.)
  • Welding helmet and gloves ( optional)
  • Assorted hammers/pry bars
  • Tool cart (has to be mobile)
  • Clean driving record (Preferred)
  • Valid driver's license (Preferred)
  • Be able to pass a drug test

Our mechanics tasks very from job to job but some involve the following.

  • Lifting/transporting loads by hand of 50lbs or more
  • Bending/kneeling/squatting to perform repairs
  • Working off ladders/step stools
  • Cutting/grinding
  • Welding – WOULD BE A REAL PLUS!!! (Plasma, MIG & TIG on steel & aluminum)
  • Diagnosis/troubleshoot and execute repair procedures
  • Safety gear is provided and required to be used in all processes.

Our Truck Equipment mechanics tasks very from job to job but some involve the following.

  • Installing snow plows, large and small
  • Installing flatbeds on pickups and trucks
  • Installing Service Bodies
  • Installing Dump Bodies on Trucks
  • Installing Hydraulic Systems
  • Welding Hitches on Trucks
  • Electrical Wiring on Trucks
  • ABS diagnostics
  • Semi trailer wreck repair
  • Pneumatic brake diagnostics/repairs
  • Trailer wiring/light repairs
  • Suspension/axle repairs
