Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Training Consultant to work onsite at our client’s facility in Tuscan, AZ. This is a contingent position expected to last approximately 2 years.

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

The Technical Training Consultant will execute role based training development and delivery for MineStar Fleet customers.

Typical Day:

He or she will directly interface with Cat partners/SMEs/dealers/customers as needed to define requirements and execute training materials in expected timeframes. The incumbent will conduct training sessions with dealer and customer personnel, both alone and in coordination with other subject matter experts, as appropriate.

Critical Technical Skills:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of and ability to conduct organizational needs assessments, evaluations, tasks analyses and job analyses. • Proficiency in course curriculum development tools, i.e. Captivate. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Ability to collaborate with diverse team to deliver results within aggressive timelines. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. • Ability to facilitate training and speak in front of groups. • Ability to drive a car or arrange for adequate transportation to and from office location to dealer and customer sites. • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • A 4-year college or university degree in a business discipline, education or mining is recommended. • > 5 years’ experience in Instructional Design and/ or Delivery, which includes learning theories, curriculum design and development, media management, training, and communications OR > 2 years’ experience in mining, with specific emphasis on use of mining technology. • Knowledge of the MineStar suite of products
