Volt is seeking an Administration Coordinator to work onsite with our client, a leader in the medical industry, in the Miami, FL area

Job Description:

LONG TERM PROJECT WITH POSSIBILITY FOR EXTENSION BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND ATTENDANCE.  Initial phone screens for selected candidates and then in person interviews will be conducted. 

HOURS: Mon- Friday 8-5pm. Some alternating Saturdays (typically are 4 hrs). There will be a possibility shift change Tues-Saturday.

Job Description:
The Administration Coordinator provides non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members.

Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.

Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Additional requirements
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
o Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
o Intermediate in Microsoft Office Word and beginner skills with Excel
o Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
o Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
o Prior healthcare experience in hospital, physician office and/or health plan
o Previous managed care experience
o Prior referral experience
o Bi-lingual - English/Spanish
o Familiar with ICD-10 and CPT codes, medical terminology
o Previous experience in a call center setting and production environment

 Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish); speaking, reading, writing, interpreting and explaining documents in Spanish and English

7+ month assignment with the possibility of converting to client's staff.
