Unified Communications Specialist
Volt is looking to hire a Unified Communications Specialist for our Client in the Procurement industry in Montreal, QC. This role is offered on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Job Description:

- Pay Rate: $28.57$/hour (T4) + benefits + accrued vacation pay at 4%
- Shift: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the ongoing operations and maintenance of corporate collaborations;
- Report on relevant vendor performance and processes;
- Supports the development, communication, and maintenance of relevant standards for all enterprise units;
- Supports operational direction to manage all aspects of scope;
- Supervise tactical support that ensures system health with current maintenance;
- Plan and implement major system installations and upgrades;
- Administer, configure, deploy, and maintain video conferencing infrastructure;
- Provide daily support and technical assistance to associates.
- End-to-end support of the delivery of Conferencing solutions;
- Manage vendor/partner relationships;
- Support operational direction to manage all aspects of Conferencing scope;
- Supervise tactical support that ensures system health with current maintenance
- Liaison for adoption and change management for the Conferencing service line
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in Cisco Video Conferencing, TelePresence systems, and network monitoring technologies and tools;
- Must have knowledge of VoIP and how it relates to the network
- Successful track record in Supporting the management of corporate collaboration solutions servicing multiple countries and business units;
- Experience monitoring customer service levels;
- Experience monitoring external suppliers, including outsource providers;
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge;
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions;
- Advanced investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously;
- Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables;
- Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects;
