Job Description

Tech should be flexible and willing to work in NYC ( 11/18 - 12/6) and Melville NY ( 12/10-12/13)

Paid training will be provided.

  • Shift: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility required
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Experience with Windows 10 a Must.  
  • 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Tech to follow a customer-defined process to Upgrade/Roll-out users to a new Win10:
  • Scan device at drop off location.
  • Backup user data and verify.
  • Restore user data on upgraded system.
  • Install additional applications if needed.
  • Validate the data/information after user log in to new systems.
  • Remove old device, use asset mgmt. system and stage for disposals. Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
  • Report to Regional lead and follow the direction and instructions on daily basis.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision. Reports to a supervisor/lead.
  • Past work experience with imaging, end user data backup and restore, PC deployment and Windows migration/upgrades a must. Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus.
