We are currently recruiting for a US Benefits Program Manager. In this key role, your primary responsibility will be to manage companies HSA, employee assistance, and disability plans and be accountable for plan design, implementation, communication and administration to achieve companies desired business results within a total rewards framework.

This role can be remote working with quarterly visits to Santa Rosa, CA. 

In addition, this role has the added responsibility of managing the health and welfare relationship with companies benefits administrator, and annual enrollment.  Provides guidance to companies benefits analysts located in Malaysia who perform administrative support for purchase orders, international relocation benefit enrollment, court orders, HSA funding, retiree medical Trust reimbursement, SOX compliance, survey completion and response to employee escalations. This position will report to the Director of Global Benefits.


Major responsibilities include:


  • Manage US benefit programs with an emphasis on the dental, vision, employee assistance and disability plans
  • Responsible for the vendor relationship with companies benefits administrator, benefits consultant, as wells as relationships with other third-party vendors to deliver timely, targeted and cost efficient benefits programs
  • Manage annual enrollment with benefits administrator
  • Provides guidance to benefits analysts in Malaysia who perform a variety of administrative support duties, such as purchase orders, international relocation benefit enrollment, court orders, HSA funding, retiree medical Trust reimbursement, SOX compliance, survey completion and response to participant escalations
  • Develop effective relationships and partnerships with internal benefits resources, other corporate resources (e.g., legal, finance, accounting, tax, payroll), business and HR resources at all levels within the organization to deliver timely, targeted, cost effective and coordinated benefits solutions
  • Develop and deliver timely, relevant and effective benefits training programs for line managers and program participants, as applicable
  • Benchmark US Benefits programs through participation in Benefits surveys
  • Analyze benefits data for trends, cost drivers, and savings opportunities which align with companies benefits philosophy and long-term strategy
  • Prepare presentations for Benefits Committee


  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Math, Statistics or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of benefits experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing US health and welfare related programs, with an understanding of actuarial concepts
  • Proven experience in managing/delivering successful benefits programs
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Very strong financial, analytical and audit skills; strong command of Excel
  • Proven experience working in a global environment for medium to large size plan sponsors
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong problem resolution, project management, consulting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
