Job Description


As Vice President of Sales, this position will be responsible promoting the company services and creating and closing sales opportunities Volt Consulting Group (VCG). The ideal leader will be responsible for daily sales activity, meeting with clients, creating sales reports, design new and more effective sales strategies to drive VCG's short and long term goals.


This is a remote opportunity with a large assigned territory requiring 30% overnight travel.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and set the strategic direction of the sales program to maximize profit.
  • Oversee sales staff operations, business planning, and budget development. Responsible for maximizing the potential sales volume of all segments of the market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop a robust network of industry and customer contacts for continued marketing engagement to support identification of future prospects in VCG's targeted market segments.
  • Work with company executive team on strategy, hiring, targets, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our business and serve our customers
  • Strategic vision to develop a sales process and exceed on sales expectations
  • Preparing sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Develop and implement a sales structure with metrics as a guide
  • Initiating new tools, tactics, and strategies that help the company communicate, educate, and validate sales efforts
  • Assisting the Executives on developing incentives that will grow the customer base
  • Teaching and reinforcing consultative selling behaviors that result in delivering exceptional sales and service results
  • Oversee relationships with clients in the United States and overseas to identify needs and to obtain feedback on the performance of new or existing services
  • Resolving all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction Prospect


Qualifications & Required Skills
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Holds, at minimum, a bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business.
  • 7 years of experience in the sales and marketing sector and should be able to demonstrate a successful sales record; preferably in an MSP/Staffing environment.
  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company's products and services.
  • Possesses knowledge of competitive products and markets.
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to think creatively.
  • Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Demonstrates patience with reluctant or frustrated clients.
