Job Description

We have a exclusive opportunity for a VP of Business Development in the Industrial market.

Responsibilities: Drive the development of company business across the industrial from a net new customer perspective. Create a detailed understanding of the companies operating in tier 1 of the global industrial supply chain. Identify potential net new customer targets for the short, medium and long term. Develop brand awareness across the sector through campaigns, social media, direct marketing and relationship nurturing.

Activities & Working Relationships

 Works alongside a market research analyst to obtain data on companies in the target sector.

• Evaluates data to assess opportunity potential in target sector, develops list of target accounts

• Working with marketing and regional sales management develops campaigns to create brand awareness within target sector and target accounts

• Develops and nurtures relationships within target sector and target accounts

• Qualifies potential sales opportunities and nurtures the early stages of the sales cycle

• Works in tandem with the global sales force to develop qualified leads into real opportunities

• Works with Vertical Marketing to provide competitive updates and assist develop the Marketing Functional Requirements roadmap for Automotive



• 15+ years’ experience at senior management level

• 10+ years of industrial industry

• 10+ years of consulting/business development experience (could be internal consulting as part of an industrial company)

• Good network in the industrial industry

• Good knowledge of IT and ERP in the industrial industry
