Job Description

Our client is looking for new candidates for an exciting opportunity!

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Put-away & Replenishment
  • Material Handling
  • Cycle Counts

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Evaluate current product placement; make changes based upon required criteria.
  • Pick location replenishment.
  • Reserve parts put-away.
  • Pick location assignments for new products.
  • Assist picking group lead with resolving problem orders.
  • Assist inventory control with bin moves and cycle count investigation.
  • Assist with order picking as required.
  • General cleaning as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • This position has no specific educational requirements.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment a plus, but not required.

Other Special Requirements

  • Strong communication skills including attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in both a collaborative (team) environment as well as perform independent work is required.
  • Effective analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new concepts

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The team member frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
