They also offer a rewarding environment in which the employees can thrive. We are currently seeking a hands-on, working Warehouse Manager to join our clients Production & Manufacturing team.

 Essential Functions:

The Warehouse Manager is in important operations position and is responsible for planning, scheduling and overall control of warehouse activities. The Warehouse Manager is expected to organize and drive all warehouse operations – meet deadlines while maintaining the highest degree of quality and accuracy.  The successful Warehouse Manager develops, improves and enforces compliance with procedures for material handling. This position is a focal point for meeting our customer delivery needs, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the successful handling, processing and shipping small and sensitive electronics and component parts inventory and for ensuring that all of the following are met to the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Overall Warehouse Management:

  • Schedules, supervises, coordinates and trains a team of warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate receiving, incoming inspection, kitting, materials transfer, order processing and shipping.
  • Successfully manages competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Apply prioritized directives to manage inbound material, production material demand, outbound product flow, and pass-through inventory.
  • Ensures administrative and regulatory requirements related to export licensing compliance, and importation compliance is met.
  • Must be able to accurately count, handle and record inventory and train and enforce others in doing so, including supervising and processing accurate cycle counts and period end and year-end inventory counts.
  • ERP experience is required.
  • Cross trains and makes effective use of staff.
  • Meets all required deadlines.
  • Improves efficiency, quality and cost of inventory management.
  • Able to scale warehousing operations consistent with client’s growth strategies.
  • Creates clear operating procedures and documentation and ensures that employees operate within those stated procedures.
  • Interacts with multiple levels of the organization to develop, manage and communicate schedules and to identify and communicate risks.
