We are currently looking to hire a Warehouse Unit Supervisor Level 1 (Evening Shift) for a 4 day work week at full-time Hours for our client located in Altona, MB. This is an approx. an 11-12 months contract.

Local candidates preferred.

  • Shift: The shift starts 3:00pm to 2:00am CST, possibly 4-10 hour days (Mon-Thurs) with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

  • Hours per week: 40

Position needs to be filled ASAP so we are looking for only available/highly interested candidates**

  • Supervises unskilled production, maintenance or warehouse employees (welding, break press and Robotic welding staff on 2nd shift. Less specialized knowledge, small in scope, more routine.
  • Supervises simple, standardized, single function. Very small number of direct reports. (Example is very small warehouse operation).


  • Supervises the execution of departmental plans to achieve objectives in safety, quality, schedule, efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Administers employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit.
  • Monitors individual performance and takes corrective action including discipline, as needed, and responds to complaints to insure the Company and employees adheres to policies, practices, procedures and work rules.
  • Establishes employee environment regarding communications, feedback and overall guidance.
  • Ensures that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction and tools to successfully do their job.
  • Works with Safety Team in meeting company standards and enforces safety regulations to prevent and eliminate injuries.
  • Resolves various systems, parts, people or process issues to correct deficiencies, reduce costs, improve processes/performance.
  • Manages and controls costs to stay within the department operating budget targets.
  • Coordinates departmental continuous improvement plans and activities.


  • We are looking for Local candidates.
  • Shift starts 3:00pm to 2:00am EST, possible 4 - 10 hour days with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
  • Should have experience with supervising staff and some training will be provided.
  • Supervise Manufacturing Unit of: Welding, break press and Robotic welding staff on the 2nd shift.
  • Safety boots with external metguard is required for the first day and onwards, and this can be purchased from a Work Authority outlet.
