Job Description

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for producing laminated rolls for the die cutting process. On non-lamination days, this position will assist with manufacturing customer required parts in the die-cutting department as well as other processes and packaging according to approved customer packaging proposals. This will be accomplished by performing the following job functions.

Location West side of Indy

Essential Job Functions

  • Read, learn, understand work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to

complete coating at established quality standards

  • Learn and perform STOP-CALL-Wait
  • Load raw material using area material handling equipment
  • Prep material for lamination (Beleza, Ruseela, ect.)
  • Record label information, prep plastic for next process, labeling for WIP
  • Record all lot numbers on lot number sheet
  • Load material into proper staging area
  • Prep roll(s) of paper for that days production
  • Make sure tape dispensers have tape, scissors are in designated areas, and shrink wrap applicator has wrap
  • Assist operator with setting up markers and blade height
  • Check PSA weight and record required data on check sheet
  • Locating coated rolls to proper WIP location
  • Inspect products after coating and die cutting according to established quality standards. Alert management if product quality standards are not met
  • Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a Team responsible for realizing continuous improvement to products and processes (Kaizen)
  • Assist with inventory counting following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and recording and communicating inventory levels
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to

daily maintenance plans required for machine operators

  • Cross train to other machines or process areas as requested
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas by assisting other personnel with trash removal, 5S house cleaning, and other tasks requested

Non-essential Job Functions

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management
  • Assist QC Manager with ISO preparation, training and auditing


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions when requested
  • While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to stand,

walk, use hands, fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms above head, talk and hear

  • Also the employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Desired Requirements

  • 3+ years previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience working in a Japanese manufacturing company

 Pay : 13.75 Hour Day shift
