Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Web Designer/Tester to work onsite at our client’s facility in Peoria, IL. This is a contingent position expected to last 1 year.   

Duties Include:

  • The main function is to develop and design web applications and web sites.
  • Directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.
  • Basic design, build or maintenance of websites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.
  • Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems.
  • Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices and operation systems.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
  • Knowledge of computer software such as Adobe, SQL, Java, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training.

Must be available to work on W2 to Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
