Are you Technical Specialist with Wide Format printing, with hardware and software knowledge? Are you a dynamic, high energy, and accomplished Wide Format Technical Support Specialist looking for a full time opportunity, where you can learn and grow, while being part of the solution...not the problem?

The ideal candidate (maybe you) would reside in the Dallas, Texas area and possesses at least 8 years of experience in the computer and printing industry. In addition, the candidate would have thorough technical support knowledge relating to printers, MFP and Network/Point of Sale with peripheral related products.

In addition to meeting and exceeding assigned objectives, the responsibilities of the position are:

  • Primary responsibility includes high level support, including direct involvement in researching and testing hardware/software products and drivers.
  • Resolve application and software issues or assist in verifying workarounds and other solutions as needed.
  • Submit Okidoc documents as product information is identified, and customer issues are resolved.
  • Respond quickly to Tier I questions to insure accurate information is provided to customers and service providers.
  • Document all resolved issues within the CRM database as required.
  • Assist in training and customer issues as required.
  • Review product documentation and provide input for improvement.
  • Reproduce customer problems in a lab environment to resolve/verify field issues.
  • Interface with other departments to quickly resolve/escalate field issues, when necessary.
  • Some travel to train and help resolve field issues when necessary.
  • Other duties as required.


  •  Bachelor’s degree of equivalent certification(s) from accredited institutions


  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the computer industry
  • Minimum 5 years in technical support / engineering, primarily related to printer, MFP and Network/Point of Sale with peripheral related products


  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with sensitivity to the multinational aspects of global communications.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to review technical evaluation plans and data results and provide a recommendation for acceptance of product.
  • Highly organized capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with software tools for reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience in working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
  • Broad knowledge of computers systems, software and peripherals.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Local and international travel approx. 5%
