Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with an amazing manufacturing company in Goleta who is looking for Woodshop Assistant. 

Job Description:
Job Title: Woodshop 
City: Ventura

Job Duration: Temp to Hire
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time 
Schedule: Monday-Thursday (6:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Pay Rate $14/hr 
 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble fixtures as instructed by Supervisor and Leads
• Performs electrical tests as required on products
• Follows instructions of engineering drawings and bill of materials
• Maintain an organized and clean work space
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by Supervisor and Leads
• Report quality issues to supervisor
• Ability to communicate in English (Read, Speak, and Write)
• Build fixtures within their 8 hours of their shift. 
• Output of fixtures varies depending on the type of fixture.

Qualifications:

• Expected to keep pace with the cycle times and efficiency parameters set by Leads and Supervisor
• Ability to take directions and adapt to a fast paced, high change environment.
• Work well with others 
• Error-free work
• Shows willingness to help out in other areas of assembly if needed
• On-Time delivery
• Achieves required & requested results
